This mini-course was great in helping to explain what the problems might be with a story (at any stage in the process). And it gave some solid advice on what you might want to look at to fix those various problems you might be having. The best lesson was on the creation process and the possible sources of the dreaded "writer's block".

"Diagnosing Story Problems" feels like MRK curated a course just for me and came at the exact time I was dealing with these problems. It helped me to look at my writing process differently and to untangle sticking points or explain certain behaviours (such as procrastination). I appreciated the self-pacing and the quizzes after each short segment helped to reinforce the lessons and force me to think about key ideas/tips from each video. MRK is also an excellent and experienced teacher. Her points are clear and the material is helpful. This course would benefit writers of all levels.

If a story isn't working, getting form rejections, this is a great way to learn how to turn a critical eye to your own work. Not all tools may work for you right now, but having the techniques in your toolbox to use later is a great way to level up your writing.
